Making Strides Now

I made a second drawing for Femmag. I thought the first one was a little discontinuous in its theme, so I wanted to make something a little more pertinent. I brainstormed a bit and came up with the idea of a girl looking in the mirror. The girl would either be a skeleton or have plastic surgery preparation marker all over her body.

I decided to go with the skeleton, because ribcages look awesome (they also take a lot of time to draw).

So that's that, as you can see. My drawings never turn out just like I envision (which sometimes bothers me, as I am a perfectionist). But, all in all, I think the ribcage looks pretty sweet, and that's all that matters. It took a little over an hour to draw.

Femmag wants me to do another drawing for them, once they figure out what the theme of the zine is going to be.

On an unrelated note, I've been catching up on episodes of Midwest Teen Sex Show. I wanted to post the best of the last four episodes, in my opinion.
